Family manifesto

See all full list on familylife. First thing we decided is that we wanted our family manifesto to be partially a reflection of who we currently are as a family and the values that are most important to us right now, with a hint of aspiration thrown in. Then my husband and I each came up with our own individual lists. Mine had items on it.

Timeless advice on the importance of imaginative and creative play updated for a new generation of parents. Embrace family life with creativity at its heart.

Basically, it shows the values we believe in, how we expect each other to act and be treate how we raise our children (if we have them), what we do when we’re together, how we celebrate success and our failures. A manifesto usually accepts a previously published opinion or public consensus or promotes a new idea with prescriptive notions for carrying out changes the author believes should be made.
